Wie nimmt man lansoprazol ein?
Die übliche Dosis ist eine 30 mg Kapsel in Kombination mit zwei verschiedenen Antibiotika morgens und eine 30 mg Kapsel in Kombination mit zwei verschiedenen Antibiotika abends. Normalerweise wird diese Behandlung über 7 Tage täglich durchgeführt.
Wie wirkt lansoprazol?
Esomeprazol, Lansoprazol, Omeprazol, Pantoprazol und Rabeprazol können die Säureproduktion im Magen fast ganz unterdrücken und so säurebedingte Beschwerden nachhaltig lindern. Diese Wirkstoffe blockieren zum einen die Abgabe der Säuremenge, die der Magen ständig als Verdauungssaft absondert.
What should I know about lansoprazole before taking it?
Lansoprazole can cause kidney problems. Tell your doctor if you are urinating less than usual, or if you have blood in your urine. This medicine can cause diarrhea, which may be a sign of a new infection. Call your doctor if you have diarrhea that is watery or has blood in it. Lansoprazole may cause new or worsening symptoms of lupus.
How does lansoprazole work to reduce stomach acid?
It decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Lansoprazole is used to treat and prevent stomach and intestinal ulcers, erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid), and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
How long can you take lansoprazole for Zollinger-Ellison syndrome?
Some patients with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome have been treated continuously with Lansoprazole for more than four years. ¶ Controlled studies did not extend beyond 12 months. In clinical studies, Lansoprazole delayed-release capsules were not administered beyond 12 weeks in 1 to 11 year olds.
How long does it take for lansoprazole to work for esophagitis?
For adults who do not heal with Lansoprazole for eight weeks (5 to 10\%), it may be helpful to give an additional eight weeks of treatment. If there is a recurrence of erosive esophagitis an additional eight week course of Lansoprazole may be considered [see Clinical Studies ( 14.8)].
